DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - A strike from the sky caused trouble in Davie this weekend.
According to Davie Fire Rescue, lightning hit a building under construction in the area of Southwest 37th Street and 63rd Avenue, just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Officials said there were no workers at the site. There were no injuries, and no one was transported.
