Position is responsible for reviewing all contracts entered by various departments and is responsible for Nabet union negotiation. Position also oversees budget preparations, all major purchases, personnel issues, and deals with NBV properties tenant relations, leases and property management issues. This position requires someone with strong negotiation, communication skills, and the ability to work well with all departments. Key Responsibilities: Operate Sony HD ENG cameras and related field equipment to capture high-quality video content Work closely with reporters and producers to determine the best shots, angles, and visual storytelling approach Set up, light, and compose shots in a variety of environments, including breaking news situations Edit video using non-linear editing systems (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Avid) to meet daily deadlines Coordinate with newsroom personnel for live shots, transmissions, and field production needs Demonstrate strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify impactful, newsworthy moments Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance in the field Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices in news photography

Core Physical Requirements: This role involves medium to heavy physical work in dynamic and unpredictable environments: Ability to lift and carry equipment (cameras, tripods, lighting kits) weighing 25-50 lbs regularly Stand and walk for extended periods, often across long distances or uneven terrain Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching to capture shots and set up equipment Strong manual dexterity for operating camera controls and editing systems Visual acuity for both close-up editing and long-distance shot composition, including color accuracy Ability to work in physically demanding and high-mobility conditions throughout the shift


Work Environment & Demands: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) Operate station vehicles, including ENG/SNG trucks, as needed Work in fast-paced, high-stress, and potentially hazardous breaking news environments Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required

Writes copy for newscasts and assists producers in the production of shows. This is an entry-level position, but applicants must have solid broadcast writing skills, be willing to work all hours, and want to learn the business from the ground up. Must be proficient in Windows 10. Our writers are considered for future producer openings, so those with a strong interest in producing should apply.

Irrigation Technician (Miramar) (2026-26)

Seeking maintenance individual to join in upkeep of grounds of 570-acre business park encompassing 5 million sq. ft. of light industrial and office space. A minimum of 5 years experience in repair of Sprinkler/Irrigation Systems a must. In addition to irrigation maintenance and repair, individual would also be required to have knowledge, skill and ability to accomplish general maintenance work, such as painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, including some janitorial.

Additional requirements as follows: Must be able to perform heavy physical demands of the job, exert up to 70 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to bend/crouch/or kneel, see, reach, climb and balance.

Other Skills/Requirements: Ability to utilize tools and machinery needed for irrigation repairs and construction safely and efficiently.

The Social Media Producer will manage the social media output of all WSVN-TV's accounts. The candidate will work closely with all facets of the newsroom and will not only assist in disseminating news but will help curate user generated content. The candidate will need to possess strong journalism skills and a deep knowledge of platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, etc. You will work closely with WSVN-TV on-air talent to promote best practices and grow our social footprint.

Associate Producer - Weekday (2026-28)

Looking for a candidate with small to medium market experience in television news writing - - with a strong interest in producing. This is an extraordinary opportunity to train to produce in a fast paced, big market newsroom.

Duties will include: -Intensive writing, mostly packages -Will assist writers with vo's and vosot's in various newscasts -Will act as a liaison between reporters, the newsdesk and producers when it comes to ordering key pre-production elements -Extensive logging and turning around any elements from 'in house' (feeds, news conferences, etc.) to reporters in the field via the cloud -Will act as a newsroom 'field producer' - - and may be called upon to handle interviews via zoom (both setting up and conducting any interviews) -Able to jump in and assist producers in any aspect of getting the product on television
