Social Media Producer (2020-23)
Full Time
The Social Media Producer will create and distribute content through the social media platforms of WSVN-TV. The candidate will work closely with all facets of the newsroom and will not only assist in disseminating news but will help curate user generated content and assist with breaking news. The candidate will need to possess strong journalism skills and a deep knowledge of platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Periscope, WordPress etc. You will work closely with WSVN-TV assignment desk to gather content for news stories.
Photographer (2020-24)
Full Time
We are looking for a very aggressive photographer with good story telling abilities. Must have a good "news eye" for our fast paced news shows, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, as well as work well with others. Knowledge of Sony HD cameras and non-linear editing is a must. A minimum of 2-3 years experience and a valid class "D" drivers license is required.
DECO Cyber/Journalist (2020-28)

Selected Candidate will assist The Cyber-Journalist/Producer in writing and entering data into the WSVN-TV website to make sure it has the latest news posted. Candidate must have excellent writing & grammar skills and be proficient in Windows 10. Applicant should also have a strong knowledge of Internet sites, and possess good web researching skills.
Sales Assistant/Coodinator (2020-29)

WSVN-7 FOX/Miami-Ft. Lauderdale is currently looking for a Sales Assistant to assist local Sales staff and Research Department. Duties include but are not limited to, preparation of sales presentations, answering phones, taking and inputting orders, handling customer questions and general office functions. Candidate will need to gain an understanding of NSI Ratings and learn to utilize media programs such as Wide Orbit Media Sales, OSI, Media Monitors, and be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Marketing/Advertising Degree preferred.
Production Assistant/Satellite Coordinator (2020-33)
Part Time
Successful candidate will work in News Operations. Duties include but not limited to scheduling recording of satellite, Instacam, and other microwave feeds. Duties will also include coordination of LIVE event coverage via IFB and control room communications. Experience or knowledge of Non-Linear editing equipment is helpful. Must have excellent communication skills and, be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. This is an excellent entry level position.
On-Line 5:00pm Producer (2020-35)

WSVN-7 Miami - Ft. Lauderdale: Looking for a producer rock star to handle the ever changing, breaking news show, 7 News at 5. -Must be able to not just stack a newscast, but PRODUCE a compelling show that offers viewers a taste of everything. -Must have extremely strong writing skills with teases, headlines and lead-ins. -Must be flexible and able to juggle continuous changes to the rundown. -Must be energetic, edgy, come up with compelling graphics and pre-production. -Must have extremely strong boothing skills to handle the daily task of juggling multiple breaking stories without hesitation and communicate to all parties clearly. -Must already have at least 5 years line producing experience.
Senior TIF Producer (2020-37)

Looking for a dynamic, experienced Senior Producer for our always breaking and very fast paced morning show, Today In Florida. This position requires someone who has extraordinary leadership skills, sound news judgment, above average people skills, an eye to catch even the smallest of mistakes and someone who wants to grow into a management position. Duties include, organizing crews before the Executive Producer gets in, helping producers stack 5 hours of power, guiding beginner writers while assisting desk in making content decisions.
