Creative Services Director (2017-008)
South Florida's #1 news station WSVN-7 is looking for a Creative Services Director to continue our tradition of innovative promos, eye catching visuals, and cutting edge set designs. This is a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Must have strong organizational, communication and management skills. Hands on writing and producing of promotional messages, as well as a strong understanding of topical news promotion. You'll be working closely with senior management in developing brand and marketing strategies. Strong design, conceptual and copy writing skills are a must. Experience with Vizrt, Cinema 4D and Adobe Suite is a plus.

Maintenance Worker - Part Time (2018-010)
We are looking for a part time maintenance worker to assist with building repairs & maintenance. Ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry among other technical skills. Position requires physical demands to exert up to 70 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to bend/crouch/or kneel, see, reach, climb and balance. Position will also require individual run errands. Individual must have a valid driver's license with a clean record, and must have knowledge of basic computer skills. Minimum High School Diploma required.
Technician, Studio (2018-028)
Operates live studio camera during live news shows. Must understand format of shows for proper key camera shots. Must know operation of teleprompter and equipment associated with studio. Minimum of one year television production experience required. Jimmy Jib experience preferred. Must be available nights and weekends
Technician, Maintenance (2018-035)
This position requires extensive experience in maintaining and troubleshooting a wide variety of broadcast equipment. Solid background in Television systems, transmissions and satellite communications required. Candidate will have to do system design. Must have advanced knowledge in video production, IT infrastructure and station automation. Knowledge of Kahuna switchers, Harris Automation, Harmonics and Grass Valley servers, Compusat preferred.
We are looking for a very aggressive photographer with good story telling abilities. Must have a good "news eye" for our fast paced news shows, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, as well as work well with others. Knowledge of Sony HD cameras and non-linear editing is a must. A minimum of 2-3 years experience and a valid class "D" drivers license is required.
Producer, Executive (Weekend) (2018-042)
Responsible for production and content of newscasts. Supervises show producers and writers. Must have strong writing skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years news management required. Person will assist the Cyber-Journalist Producer in writing and entering data in the WSVN-TV website to make sure it has the latest breaking news posted. Candidate must have excellent writing & grammar skills and be proficient in Windows 7. Applicant should also have strong knowledge in Internet sites and web researching skills.
Producer, Segment - Deco (2018-049)
Responsible for finding, writing and producing entertainment and lifestyle packages and news stories for daily half-hour news program. Candidate should be a self-motivator, able to generate unique stories with a quick turn-around for air. Must be able to wear two hats: one of a news producer with a basic grasp of current events and also an entertainment producer who is aware of what's popular in show business and pop culture. Two years minimum news writing and news producing experience preferred. Should be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Producer Associate, Sports (2018-051)
Should have small market producing skills or medium market associate producing skills. Must have experience working with producers, editors and directors. Candidate should have non-linear editing experience as well as field producing skills.

We are looking for an aggressive, creative, on-line show producer. Should have medium market producing skills. Heavy emphasis on show stacking, headline and tease writing, as well as copy editing. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines. A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two (2) years experience as a TV News Producer required. Must be proficient in Windows.
Traffic Clerk (2018-060)
Responsible for supporting the clearance of inventory for client purchases of available advertising. Serve as a liaison between Account Executives and advertising agencies to obtain necessary commercial advertising for airplay. Input rotation of daily commercial activity, manage changes and missing instructions as appropriate. Ensure that the commercial placement is to client's specifications. Evaluate sold and scheduled inventory and adjust commercial placement as necessary. Candidate must be analytical, organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines. Able to work variable schedule and overtime as necessary. Computer skills preferred. No broadcast experience necessary.

Assignment Desk Assistant (2018-062)
Assists the Assignment Editor on the desk. Monitors police and fire scanners. Gathers information from police and fire agencies and assists reporters with setting up stories for major market television station. Dispatches news crews to stories. Must have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work well with others. A must to have proficiency in news writing. Some TV experience required. Must be proficient in Windows XP.
