Social Media Producer (2020-23)
Full Time
The Social Media Producer will create and distribute content through the social media platforms of WSVN-TV. The candidate will work closely with all facets of the newsroom and will not only assist in disseminating news but will help curate user generated content and assist with breaking news. The candidate will need to possess strong journalism skills and a deep knowledge of platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Periscope, WordPress etc. You will work closely with WSVN-TV assignment desk to gather content for news stories.
Photographer (2020-24)
Full Time
We are looking for a very aggressive photographer with good story telling abilities. Must have a good "news eye" for our fast paced news shows, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, as well as work well with others. Knowledge of Sony HD cameras and non-linear editing is a must. A minimum of 2-3 years experience and a valid class "D" drivers license is required.
DECO Cyber/Journalist (2020-28)
Part Time
Selected Candidate will assist The Cyber-Journalist/Producer in writing and entering data into the WSVN-TV website to make sure it has the latest news posted. Candidate must have excellent writing & grammar skills and be proficient in Windows 10. Applicant should also have a strong knowledge of Internet sites, and possess good web researching skills.
On-Line 5pm Producer (2020-35)

WSVN-7 Miami - Ft. Lauderdale: Looking for a producer rock star to handle the ever changing, breaking news show, 7 News at 5. -Must be able to not just stack a newscast, but PRODUCE a compelling show that offers viewers a taste of everything. -Must have extremely strong writing skills with teases, headlines and lead-ins. -Must be flexible and able to juggle continuous changes to the rundown. -Must be energetic, edgy, come up with compelling graphics and pre-production. -Must have extremely strong boothing skills to handle the daily task of juggling multiple breaking stories without hesitation and communicate to all parties clearly. -Must already have at least 5 years line producing experience.
Today In Florida Morning/Noon Anchor (2020-38)

WSVN is looking for a dynamic anchor for our 5-hour #1 morning newscast. Candidate must have strong journalism and adlibbing skills plus engaging personality. If you're a team player who wants to be part of a fun, hard-working newsroom, submit your reel and resume.
Writer (2020-39)
Part Time
Writes copy for newscasts and assists producers in the production of shows. This is an entry-level position, but applicants must have solid broadcast writing skills, be willing to work all hours, and want to learn the business from the ground up. Must be proficient in Windows 10. Our writers are considered for future producer openings, so those with a strong interest in producing should apply.
On-Line TIF 8am Producer (2020-40)
Full Time
We are looking for an aggressive, creative, on-line show producer. Should have medium market producing skills. Heavy emphasis on show stacking, headline and tease writing, as well as copy editing. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines. A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two (2) years experience as a TV News Producer required.
Executive Assistant/Corporate Travel Coordinator (2020-41)

This position will provide administrative and project management support to the Executive Offices as well as coordinating Corporate Travel arrangements. Individual must be able to work in a fast paced environment, have strong administrative planning and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks. A minimum of 5+ years of travel management experience with SABRE in both Domestic and International Travel is required. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Strong Word, Excel and Outlook skills required.
Operator Technician (2020-42)
Part Time
5 years experience at Master Control Operations needed. Must be able to modify multiple transmission lists with little warning, ingest & prep shows daily. Knowledge of Harris Automation, Harmonics video server, Compusat preferred. Experience with Satellite Downlink and Video shading of Studio Cameras also a plus.
