Creative Services Director (2017-008)
South Florida's #1 news station WSVN-7 is looking for a Creative Services Director to continue our tradition of innovative promos, eye catching visuals, and cutting edge set designs. This is a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Must have strong organizational, communication and management skills. Hands on writing and producing of promotional messages, as well as a strong understanding of topical news promotion. You'll be working closely with senior management in developing brand and marketing strategies. Strong design, conceptual and copy writing skills are a must. Experience with Vizrt, Cinema 4D and Adobe Suite is a plus.

Technician, Maintenance (2018-035)
This position requires extensive experience in maintaining and troubleshooting a wide variety of broadcast equipment. Solid background in Television systems, transmissions and satellite communications required. Candidate will have to do system design. Must have advanced knowledge in video production, IT infrastructure and station automation. Knowledge of Kahuna switchers, Harris Automation, Harmonics and Grass Valley servers, Compusat preferred.
We are looking for a very aggressive photographer with good story telling abilities. Must have a good "news eye" for our fast paced news shows, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, as well as work well with others. Knowledge of Sony HD cameras and non-linear editing is a must. A minimum of 2-3 years experience and a valid class "D" drivers license is required.
Cyber Journalist,Writer (2018-046)
Person will assist the Cyber-Journalist Producer in writing and entering data in the WSVN-TV website to make sure it has the latest breaking news posted. Candidate must have excellent writing & grammar skills and be proficient in Windows 7. Applicant should also have strong knowledge in Internet sites and web researching skills.
Producer, Segment - Deco (2018-049)
Responsible for finding, writing and producing entertainment and lifestyle packages and news stories for daily half-hour news program. Candidate should be a self-motivator, able to generate unique stories with a quick turn-around for air. Must be able to wear two hats: one of a news producer with a basic grasp of current events and also an entertainment producer who is aware of what's popular in show business and pop culture. Two years minimum news writing and news producing experience preferred. Should be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Producer, Investigative (2018-055)
Seeking hands on self starter for an Investigative and Consumer Producer position. Responsible for writing, and gathering content and producing stories from concept to air. Must be able to establish contacts in the field, manage tips and public records requests, compose open records requests, and conduct interviews Must have investigative experience, bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 years experience as a TV news producer. Producer, Weather (Hourly) (2018-061)
WSVN is looking for a part time weather producer who will produce graphics for our meteorologists and occasionally fill in on-air. This person will need to generate creative, animated weather graphics using state of the art Weather Central graphics systems. Please submit resume & demo reel.
Technician, Operator/Audio (2018-073)
Must have minimum 3 years experience doing live newscasts with a large format audio console. Knowledge of SSL digital board , 360 System's Digicart, RTS Intercom and other digital audio is helpful. Must be able to work in a fast paced news environment, & must be able to work flexible hours. Needs to be able to handle quick changes. Good communication skills and the ability to work with others under pressure are a must. SBE Certification and some maintenance ability a plus.
Reporter, General Assignment (2018-074)
Develops, researches and writes human interest stories and broadcasts same on the air. Bachelor's degree in journalism required. Minimum 2-3 years experience as a television news anchor in top 30 market required. Submit tape with application/resume.
Producer, On-Line-10pm (2018-075)
We are looking for an aggressive, creative, on-line show producer. Should have medium market producing skills. Heavy emphasis on show stacking, headline and tease writing, as well as copy editing. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines. A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two (2) years experience as a TV News Producer required. Must be proficient in Windows 7.
Newscast Technical Director (2018-076)
Must have 3-5 years experience as a technical newscast director for a television station. Must be able to call and punch a fast paced show with lots of changes. Experience on Kahuna switcher is a plus. Must be a team player as person must work closely with producers, camera crew, editors and other news staff. Should be available to work flexible hours, including holidays.
Administrative Assistant - Real Estate (2018-077)
We are looking for an individual to assist our Executive Offices with all clerical, administrative functions. Duties include but are not limited to: answering phones, handling all correspondence, making travel arrangements, coordinating conference calls, planning meetings, data entry and assisting other departments as needed. Must have the ability to work well with others and be able to interact with other departments as well as with clients. Strong Word and Excel skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Knowledge of Outlook is a plus. Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience.
