HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (WSVN) - The driver of a motor scooter was fatally struck by two vehicles and a tractor trailer, Friday morning, on Interstate 95.

According to FHP officials, the driver of the scooter was traveling northbound on I-95, near Stirling Road, when he was hit from behind by a car. The scooter’s driver was quickly ejected and landed onto the roadway where he was then struck by a tractor trailer. Another vehicle hit the victim shortly afterwards.

Police said the driver died on the scene. He was later identified as 47-year-old Willie Hill.

All lanes were shutdown in the area at 3 a.m. for the cleanup process.

As of 11 a.m., the lanes reopened and traffic began flow normally.
