NORTH BAY VILLAGE, FLA. (WSVN) - A North Bay Village Police officer was arrested on domestic violence charges.
Marcia Sangronis was taken into custody Tuesday night. The 38-year-old is facing charges of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and domestic violence, according to the arrest report.
The arrest report states the incident started as an argument with her boyfriend. Officials said the suspect would not let him leave her residence in Hialeah, and when he attempted to end the relationship, she scratched and bit him several times before he broke free.
Sangronis was arrested by Hialeah Police and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade.
