Wishing all Father’s a special weekend!
The forecast is calling for a weak front to be nearby through Monday. That front will keep our steering flow out of the West-Southwest with the showers and storms that develop pushing toward the East coast. Therefore, if you have big outdoor plans with Dad this weekend, get them done early. A good rain chance is in the forecast.
By middle part of next, we have typical rain chances of 40% in the forecast, but may need to bump them up if some moisture holds with a tropical wave moving through the Caribbean.

Tropical Update: The National Hurricane Center is watching a wave near the Yucatan Peninsula. Once it moves into the Southern Gulf of Mexico, it could get better organized. Right now it has a medium chance to form in the next 2 days.
