South Florida we have a weak frontal boundary over us keeping moisture in place. Eventually it will fall apart as high pressure starts building over the Southeast United States from the Western Atlantic Ocean. By Wednesday, the breeze builds along the coast and that will help it feel less steamy. Hopefully the breeze will be strong enough to push the sea breeze showers and storms each afternoon well inland and away. However, we still have typical rain chances in the forecast.
Heading into Memorial Day weekend which marks the unofficial start to Summer, we could have some changes. Most of the computer models are showing that a batch of tropical moisture will be over the Bahamas into the Caribbean Sea. If it holds, our rain chances will be higher on Sunday.
By the afternoon, showers/thunderstorms will brew due to the heating of the day. @wsvn pic.twitter.com/D9AP9mB6vL
