So what do you do when you already have a successful restaurant in South Florida? What else? You open another one! Bulla Gastrobar, a Coral Gables fave, is expanding and now Doral peeps gets a chance to get in on the Spanish tapas action.
The space is warm and welcoming inspired by modern European design but still maintains the traditional tapas vibe of bars in Barcelona. Some of the stand-outs include Huevos Bulla $10 (eggs with homemade potato chips), Croquetas de jamon Iberico $10 (ham croquettes served with fig jelly) Gambas al ajillo $14 (sauteed shrimp with garlic), Tortilla Espanola $7 (traditional spanish omelete) and the Pan con Tomate $5 (toasted bread brushed with fresh tomato) and of course Paella $39 with calamari, king prawn, clams, and shrimp.
I took my dad for Father’s Day and the old man loved every bite. Sit inside. Sit outside. Just enjoy the flavors of Spain from Northwest Miami-Dade.
