Biography

Jordan Segundo is a multi-talented broadcast journalist and television host. He joined WSVN in January 2024 and is currently a Weekend Morning Anchor and Weekday Reporter.

Before joining 7 News, Jordan was an anchor/reporter & weather anchor at CBS13/Good Day in Sacramento, California. During his time in California, he covered a broad variety of topics and features, including a week-long assignment covering the 2023 deadly wildfires on Maui in his home state of Hawaii.

Prior to joining CBS13/Good Day, he was a weekend morning news anchor, reporter, and weather anchor at KITV4 Island News in Hawaii, after previously spending considerable time at KHON2 News in Honolulu, taking on different roles including, “American Idol” commentator, FOX VIP Correspondent, and as a weekly contributor for the daily lifestyle show, “Living808”.

With a degree in Journalism from the University of Hawaii, Jordan’s mixed ethnicity and passion for storytelling gives him a universal and inclusive perspective that allows him to engage, inform, and entertain diverse communities and form a unique connection with viewers.

Community Service is also very important to Jordan. He frequently volunteers his time and talents to worthy causes and non-profit organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities and various animal shelters.

In addition to television, Jordan is also recognized for his musical talent. He was the first singer from Hawaii to be a top 32 semi-finalist on the nationally acclaimed singing competition, “American Idol”, in 2003. Along with music, Jordan has been seen on the small screen, appearing on Season 6 of, “Hawaii Five-0”.

When not in front of the camera or on stage performing, Jordan enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking. A health and fitness enthusiast, Jordan loves working out, and competed in his very first bodybuilding competition in 2023, but his greatest passion is his devotion to his family and many friends.
