The weekend heat will be on!
Most of the computer models are showing that high pressure will be in firm control from the Gulf of Mexico and stretching into the Western Atlantic Ocean. This will keep a nice ocean breeze in place along with the heat and high humidity. Temperatures each afternoon will range in the low 90’s and feel anywhere between 100-105 degrees. Therefore, make sure to drink plenty of water and if you can stay in the shade a little longer… do so! As far as rain is concerned, we will have typical chances for this time of year. Look for a 30-40% chance of seeing afternoon inland isolated showers and storms. Overnight/early morning we can’t rule out seeing a spotty shower along the breeze. This pattern will hold through early next week.

Tropical Update: An area of clouds and rain showers over the Yucatan Peninsula is very disorganized. The National Hurricane Center cancelled the Recon mission and bumped down the chance for growth to a low chance of 10% through the next 5 days.
