TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Benji Bell, who came off the bench for Florida State’s men’s basketball team last season, is transferring to another school.
Coach Leonard Hamilton said on Tuesday that Bell has been granted his release.
Bell, a 6-foot-4 guard who will be a senior, played only one season for the Seminoles. He played in 33 games and averaged 3.8 points, 1.0 rebounds and 10.4 minutes per game.
Prior to his time at Florida State, Bell played one season at Northwest Florida State where he led the school to the Junior College National Championship in 2015.
