MOUNT GRETNA, Pa. (AP) — Authorities are pursuing leads in the search for a Pennsylvania man accused of threatening two nurses at gunpoint to spring his girlfriend from a mental health care hospital.

The mother of 21-year-old Alicia Buzzard says police talked to at least one person who’d seen her daughter.

Buzzard’s mother tells LNP newspaper her daughter and 18-year-old Elliott Ravert visited Ravert’s friend in Manheim Township before taking off. She told the paper her daughter was apparently in good spirits.

He’s accused of taking Buzzard from Philhaven Hospital in Mount Gretna on Tuesday night. Authorities aren’t sure if she went willingly.

Police say he threatened to shoot the nurses if they didn’t cooperate.

Ravert faces aggravated assault, terroristic threats and robbery charges.

He might have changed the plates on his SUV truck.
