(WSVN) — Passengers on a three-and-a-half hour flight managed to finish every last drop of alcohol on their trip, prompting a congratulatory announcement from the pilot.
The Southwest flight from Oakland, Calif. to Kansas City last Wednesday had many travelers decked out in Raiders gear, apparently heading to the Thursday Night Football game between the Raiders and the Chiefs.
Oakland Raiders beat reporter Jimmy Durkin was on the flight, and tweeted about the pilot’s announcement.

Durkin told Fox News that football fans on the flight were just enjoying themselves.
“Not particularly rowdy,” Durkin said, “and yeah, a decent amount of folks in Raiders gear. Pretty standard fare for a flight to a city where the Raiders are playing.”
The flight back was probably more somber, as the Chiefs ended the Raiders six-game winning streak.
