PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a man now in police custody got into an argument at a crowded house party and stabbed six guests, critically injuring two of them.

Police say 21-year-old Arron Te faces attempted murder charges following the stabbings around 3 a.m. Saturday at a home in Pasadena. Lt. Vasken Gourdikian says Te still was at the home when police arrived and was taken into custody without incident.

He says about 200 people were at the party when an argument broke out, and Te is believed to have stabbed all six male victims.

Gourdikian says two victims are in critical but stable condition. He says the others suffered less serious injuries.

Police had no motive for the stabbings.
