(WSVN) - Rumor has it that America’s beloved guilty pleasure, Girl Scout cookies, will soon be available down your local cereal aisle.
Yep, you heard it here first: Girl Scout cookie-flavored cereals are coming to a grocery store near you.
According to The Daily Mail, “Insta” candy blogger CandyHunting broke the news of Girl Scout cereals created by General Mills via two Instagram posts, last week.
The two posts feature the cereal flavors, Caramel Crunch and Thin Mints, in their well-known, respective colors, royal purple and green.
Buzzfeed confirmed the news, Sunday. “General Mills is releasing Girl Scout cookie cereal next year, a spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.”
According to Buzzfeed, the General Mills spokesperson said the new cereal will launch in January.
Just in time for that “winter body!”
