(WSVN) - Early voting for the Aug. 23rd primary is set to start across the Sunshine State next week.

Voters in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties may begin casting their ballots at designated sites for two weeks beginning Monday.

Early voting in Broward begins on Saturday, Aug. 13.

In Florida, the primary is closed, meaning that voters need to be registered for a political party and can only vote for that party’s candidates.
