HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (WSVN) - Minor flooding began to accumulate after a water main break occurred in Hollywood, Thursday.

Water could be seen rushing into the street in a residential alley, off the 1000 block between Tyler and Polk Street.

Crews worked to stop the flooding around 5 p.m. They said an eight-inch line broke, which caused the flooding. They have since been working to repair the line.

No boil water order was issued for the area.

Traffic was not affected considering that most motorists remained off the streets due to Hurricane Matthew.

The city has not released if the break was caused due to the hurricane.

The water main break has since been fixed.
