NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - The mother of a 15-year-old killed in a drive-by shooting last month joined with community members, Tuesday, for a peace rally at a Northwest Miami-Dade park.

Sirena Harrell appealed to those gathered at the peace rally, held at Arcola Park, to come forward with any information they have about the killing of her son Isaiah Solomon.

Solomon was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting while he attended the wake for his cousin along, Northwest 83rd Terrace and 19th Avenue, in Northwest Miami-Dade, on Aug. 26.

“Numbers aren’t enough. Speaking up and speaking out and speaking against these types of acts is what matters,” Harrell said.

The shooter has not been caught.

If you have any information on this shooting, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
