MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - According to police, the lockdown at Miami Beach Senior High has been lifted.

The school, located at 2231 Prairie Ave. in Miami Beach, was placed on lockdown around 8 a.m., Thursday.

According to Miami-Dade Schools officials, they received a phone call about an individual at the school possibly wanting to harm himself and others.

Miami-Dade Schoolx Police with the assistance of Miami Beach Police searched the campus, while a Miami-Dade Police helicopter circled the area from above.

No credible threats were found.

Classes resumed to their regular schedules.
