MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) — A special event remembering the millions who lost their lives in the Holocaust took place over the weekend.
Crowds gathered at the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach, Sunday. The ceremony marked the 71st anniversary of the liberation of concentration camps, although the official Remembrance Day is on Wednesday.
The event included a musical performance, readings, a memorial candle lighting ceremony and community prayers.
