TAMPA, FLA. (WSVN) - A Good Samaritan came to the rescue of two baby raccoons found in the debris left in the wake of Tropical Storm Hermine.
Jon-Jon Cochran found the two cubs in Tampa while cleaning up. He said the pair crawled out of a tree that was knocked down — their mother nowhere to be found.
“I feel like they’re out here stranded and wet, and they’re cold, and they are babies. They don’t know nothing. This is all they know,” Cochran said.
A rescue group has taken in the two cubs.
