Florida Power and Light is preparing for Hurricane Matthew and any possible power outages that may occur.
FPL workers and equipment are being pre-positioned across the state to quickly restore electricity and repair damaged power lines, should outages occur.
The agency said more than 6,000 employees and contractors will be “at the ready” to respond across the state.
