WILTON MANORS, Fla. (WSVN) — The family of a South Florida man fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver urged the person responsible to come forward.

Meanwhile, police have raised the reward for information in the case to $6,000.

Raymond King was run over and killed by a driver in Wilton Manors, on June 10. The 39-year-old was struck at the intersection of Northeast Sixth Avenue and 27th Court while walking home from a bar in the early morning hours.

His sister-in-law has a message for the driver. “We just want to know what happened. We really do. We just need closure, and please, just take the time to call and speak to the detectives and find out,” said Lynn King. “You know, we’re not blaming you. We’re not blaming anybody because we don’t know.”
