FLORIDA KEYS, Fla. (WSVN) — The Coast Guard has suspended its search, Tuesday night, for a Cuban migrant who was reported missing off the Florida Keys on Monday.

The search was suspended at 7:40 p.m., Tuesday, after covering 652 square miles in the Florida Straits, the Coast Guard said.

The United States Coast Guard was combing the waters along Big Pine Key. Eleven migrants were found in that area and said one man got separated from their group after they left Cuba by boat.

A plane was also brought in to help in the search.
