FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - Five people, including three children, were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a rollover crash in a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene of the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Northwest 15th Court and 24th Avenue, Wednesday morning.

Officials said the driver of a black SUV involved ran a stop sign and rammed into a black Dodge SUV, at around 7:45 a.m.

Security footage from a home at the intersection where the crash occurred showed one of the SUVs speeding through a stop sign and striking the Dodge, causing it to roll onto its side.

Immediately after the crash, the driver of one of the SUVs hopped out, along with four children, then appears to pull out a baby carrier from the back seat.

Witnesses ran to the toppled SUV and attempted to render aid to those trapped inside.

According to fire rescue officials, two adults and three children were transported to Broward Health Medical Center with injuries that were deemed not life-threatening. All patients are expected to make a full recovery.

Officials said no one has been ticketed, but the crash remains under investigation.
