The driver has been released from the hospital, but the passenger who was shot in the leg remains in stable condition.

7News spoke to a witness who said she heard two gunshots and saw a car blocking the entrance of the pizza shop.

“So, I went inside to let my husband know that there was a car parked out there that shouldn’t have been out there,” she said. “By the time I got out of my bedroom, I heard the two shots, and me and my brother-in-law came running out. I came out right to this palm tree, and by the time I came out to the palm tree, the guy was running around, and he was jumping in the car.”

7 Skyforce hovered over the scene where police could be seen focusing near a row of U-Haul trucks parked near the pizza shop.

Police said they are looking for two men between 18 and 20 years old and driving a black SUV.
