LAUDERDALE LAKES, FLA. (WSVN) - An 18-year-old man was transported to the hospital after, authorities said, he was reportedly stabbed near a Lauderdale Lakes high school during a football game, Friday night.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to reports of a stabbing near Boyd H. Anderson High School, at around 8:41 p.m.
Family members said the victim, whom they identified as Matthew Dorsett, was stabbed several times in the chest.
Dorsett was transported to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert but is expected to be OK.
BSO Crime Scene Unit and Violent Crimes Unit detectives are still investigating this case.
