(WSVN) - “Empire” is getting even sexier. Is that even possible?!?! Tonight, Taye Diggs enters the Lyon’s den, and he told us what’s going down.

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie): “Look at me, boy. Get yourself together.”

Empire is back with a brand-new episode called “Sin That Amends.”

But my heart is still recovering from last week.

Terrence Howard (as Lucious Lyon): “Where’s Andre?” (Body falls on top of car.)

Good thing there’s someone new in town.

Taye Diggs (as Angelo Dubois): “Excuse me, Mrs. Lyon?

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie): “Miss Lyon.”

Taye Diggs (as Angelo Dubois): “Miss Lyon. Are you joining us at the summit?”

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie): “No. I’m busy, and so is Jamal.”

Guest starring this week? Actor Taye Diggs.

Taye Diggs: “‘Empire’ is a huge show, one of the biggest shows I’ve ever been on. So, it’s been fun joining the cast.”

Diggs is no stranger to FOX TV, making a guest appearance last season on “Rosewood,” where he played a doctor — even filming here in Miami.

Now, on Empire he’s…

Taye Diggs: “Showing up as a potential, possible love interest to the character Cookie. I play a politician that gets taken with Cookie, and then I pursue her hotly.”

He plays wealthy city councilman Angelo Dubois.

And while Taraji P. Henson plays one tough Cookie, Diggs says she’s amazing to work with.

Taye Diggs: “Though she is royalty and commands so much respect, she is also hilarious and comes from the theater. So, we share that common sense of humor.”

Despite the long hours and shooting in Chicago, this actor is “digging” the opportunity.

Taye Diggs: “Everybody’s very professional and good at what they do, but when we are not shooting, we are laughing and singing and dancing.”

Does Cookie vote for the new politician in town?

I’d say yes, but isn’t Florida a swing state?

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie) “We gotta go!”

Taye Diggs (as Angelo Dubois): “I look forward to seeing you both there.”

Trai Byers (as Andre Lyon): “Why you gotta be so rude?

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie): “‘Cause we got an FBI agent up our ass and we don’t need a politician, too.”

Which means Lucious, played by Terrence Howard, could still have a shot at the title? Or not…

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie): “I need you to hear me loud and clear, Lucious. What you and me had is dead.”

Terrence Howard (as Lucious Lyon): “Don’t say say that.”

Taraji P. Henson (as Cookie): “Yeah, you married now.”

And you can catch Taye, Cookie, and all the other Lyons on all-new episodes of “Empire,” Wednesday nights at 9 p.m., right here on 7.
