By the time we get out of here, happy hours are long gone. Until now. One place is serving up a late night menu for those of us that are working overtime.

Sometimes you have no time for happy hour.

Blair Wilson: “So we came up with the idea of a reverse happy hour.”

It’s a simple solution, really…

Blair Wilson: “Kinda giving a chance for locals to get another take at happy hour because some people miss it during the middle of the day.”

The Social Club at the Surfcomber Hotel in South Beach is launching a discounted menu from 10 p.m. to midnight — Sunday through Thursday.

Blair Wilson: “We wanted to highlight some of the items that we’re really proud of and that really sell well during our brunch and during our regular happy hours.”

Like these waffle fried nachos.

Blair Wilson: “So basically, we’re making nachos out of waffle fries. We use some slow roasted mojo pork, some shredded cheddar cheese, a bit of pickled peppers and some green onions.”

Juliet Velazquez: “Oh my God, they were so delicious. I love the mojo pork. It was so flavorful and such a nice touch to the waffle fries.”

Or — have breakfast for late night dinner.

Blair Wilson: “One of the items that we serve right now is the breakfast sandwich.”

C’mon — live a little.

Blair Wilson: “It’s fresh challah bread, Texas toast style so it’s a little thick. It has maple bourbon bacon jam, it has fresh baby arugula, heirloom tomato, sliced avocado and then a fried egg.”

Rocio Terrones: “They have some bourbon in the bacon jam, which is delicious. It’s great.”

If you need meat — this bone marrow burger is calling your name.

Blair Wilson: “In addition to some of the usual suspects that you’d find at a grind like chuck and short rib and flank, we also mixed in the bone marrow itself and it really fortifies that beef flavor.”

Luc Faustin: “The beef is very tender and delicious. I like the toasted bun and just amazing.”

Pair everything with fries…

Blair Wilson: “We also do some crispy yucca fries that get tossed in our house made BBQ spice, which is unique because we use a lot of different smoke chillis and a bit of sweetness. And it’s served with a roasted garlic herb mayo, which is just fantastic.”

And what’s happy hour without some spirits.

Blair Wilson: “We are running specials on both beer and wine, and we got a selection of cocktails too. So we do have a craft cocktail menu and we offer some discounted prices for those.”

The discount is totally worth it.

Blair Wilson: “It ranges anywhere from 20 percent to 40 percent off.”

Sounds like the perfect new excuse to stay up late.
