Gazillion Bubble Show

A stage show from New York is making its way to South Florida. You could say it’s really blowing up. We don’t want to burst your bubble, but those little bubbles you blew when you were a kid are nothing compared to the artists in this show. Deco got a sneak peek at the “Gazillion Bubble Show.”

Deni Yang, Gazillion Bubble Show: “This one I call cluster bubbles.”

Deni Yang knows bubbles. From the age of four, he’s been perfecting the art of bubble blowing. Now his family is part of an off-Broadway show called the “Gazillion Bubble Show.”

Deni Yang: “People get put inside of bubbles, fully encapsulated. We simulate planetary bubbles, volcano bubbles, tornado bubbles. Kinda put a story behind it and you can make like snow, space, underwater oceans.”

The show’s been blowing away audiences for more than 10 years. It’s a combination of music, lasers and, of course, gazillions of bubbles.

We caught up with Deni at the Young at Art Museum in Davie, who showed us the tools of the trade.

Deni Young: “It goes from multi and mega to gazillions!”

Deni Young: “So this is like a liquid, like a liquid fog oil. All of the bubble solution is non-toxic so, if you want — they don’t taste good, though.”

Turns out there’s a real science to blowing bubbles.

Deni Yong: “First you have to take into account temperature, air conditioning, and also, it’s from our special mixture. There’s different density and elasticity levels.”

Getting inside a giant bubble could make you feel like a kid again.

Boy: “Wow!”

And you’re definitely encouraged to try this at home.

Deni Young: “When they go home, they always try in their bathtub, they get inspired to try little things. There’s a lot of chemistry and a little bit of physics to it, and we put the art to it because it’s entertaining and fun.”

The “Gazillion Bubble Show” is coming to the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, June 25th. If you’d like the chance to win free tickets, just email your name, address and phone number to Good luck!
