It’s finally the weekend, which means it’s time for a little drinky poo, but who says you can’t have a drink during the week? (Chris says he certainly never said that!) But if you need a reason to have a drink — or five — on a Thursday, we’ll help you out. Just tell them Deco sent you.

If you’re just like Ron Burgundy in “Anchorman,” we’ve got some scotch-tastic news for ya.

Adrienne Grenier, 3030 Ocean: “We’re doing a dinner that’s featuring Johnnie Walker blended scotches, and pairing food along with each course.”

3030 Ocean at Marriott’s Harbor Beach Resort and Spa in For Lauderdale Beach has come up with the perfect excuse to drink and dine on a Thursday night.

Adrienne Grenier: “There’s tons of flavors that go well with scotch.”

All those flavors were put together by “Chopped” winner Chef Adrienne Grenier.

Adrienne Grenier: “The menu is a collaboration between myself and my sous chef.”

The dinner has five courses and five drinks. The scotches come with flavored ice.

Adrienne Grenier: “We thought the infused ice will be a really cool way for the diners to taste the scotch on its own, and then let it gradually incorporate the ice into a drink that would pair really well with the food.”

One of the drinks — Johnnie Walker Double Black — with fennel and jalapeño ice, paired with a lamb sausage with black barley salad.

Adrienne Grenier: “Kinda going crazy with the black theme with the Double Black scotch. We’re also gonna pair it with some black radish, black vinegar and house-made black mustard.”

Another drink features the Platinum label.

As for the bite…

Adrienne Grenier: “A sweet corn agnolotti with a seared scallop and black truffles. I thought the corn flavors, the sweet corn, will go really well with the scotch. And we’re pairing that with a vanilla ice, which is really good with the whole dish altogether.”

And, at the end of the dinner, something sweet.

Adrienne Grenier: “The dessert course is a butterscotch pie with a chocolate and pecan crumble crust and smoked pecan ice cream.”

It’s paired with a Gold label reserve — in cherry ice. Yum!

And, for those who want to know more about scotch, relax! There will be a scotch master on premises will all the info.

Adrienne Grenier: “This is definitely a good opportunity from the people who are not usually scotch drinkers, for them to try them out, as well as people who drink scotch all the time. It’s a great way to experience it in a new way.”

3030 Ocean has themed dinners on the last Thursday of every month. The scotch dinner happens on June 30 and it’s $150 per person.
