Meteorologist
Jackson Dill joined the 7 News weather team as a fill in weather anchor/ producer in December 2021 and was promoted to Weekend Morning Meteorologist in early 2023.
His internship in 2021, at CNN, led him to a freelance weather producer position, in a short time. While at CNN, he produced segments from around the world, covering wildfires, typhoons and major hurricanes.
Growing up in Connecticut, Jackson developed a passion for weather, at a young age. He became fascinated by storm tracking, and even created his own weather website, while in high school. He attended the University of Miami, while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Jackson enjoys the outdoors, especially the beaches and is a fan of coffee!
