WEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Loved ones and strangers came together to search for a Doral resident and her daughter, more than three weeks after they went missing.

Family and friends of Liliana and Daniela Moreno were among the volunteers who searched in two areas of West Miami-Dade: near Southwest Eighth Street and 137th Avenue, and near Southwest 18th Street and 157th Avenue.

The group used ATVs and drones to search the heavily wooded area.

Liliana, 43, and 9-year-old Daniela have been missing since May 31. “We are looking for anything that can give the police some type of guidance,” said volunteer Carlos Aguilar. “We are also alerting the community that they have to be on the lookout for anything that they can point out to the community and the police.”

Aguilar’s son, University of Florida student Christian Aguilar, was found murdered after he went missing back in 2012. He was 19.

If you have any information that could help investigators, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
