PLANTATION, FLA. (WSVN) - A backyard scare in Plantation sent a man diving into a swimming pool in Plantation to rescue a 2-year-old girl, Sunday.
Police and fire rescue crews responded to the home near Southwest 12th Street and 50th Avenue. Officials said the toddler had fallen into a backyard pool. Fortunately, a neighbor saw it happen and jumped in to pull her out.
The neighbor was able to revive the girl. Officials said she was doing fine, but she was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
