RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — South Florida authorities say a man and a toddler were shot dead while sitting in a vehicle.
Riviera Beach police spokeswoman Rose Anne Brown said Monday that 24-year-old Amir Stepherson and 3-year-old Martavious Carn were pronounced dead in an apartment complex parking lot, where they were shot Sunday night. A woman whose name was not released was wounded.
Brown said investigators believe Stepherson was the intended target because of an ongoing dispute. No arrests have been made.
