MIAMI (WSVN) - Local philanthropists who make South Florida a better place to live were honored at a luncheon, Friday.
The American Cancer Society recognized the philanthropists at the 2016 Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon at the JW Marriott Marquis in Downtown Miami.
7’s own Belkys Nerey emceed the event.
The event honors 12 women for their leadership, volunteer work and community involvement.
Guests also enjoyed a fashion show from Neiman Marcus Coral Gables.
The celebration comes as the American Cancer Society celebrates over 100 years of progress in fighting cancer.
