MIAMI (WSVN) - Ten South Florida pastors came together to hold an anti-gun violence rally at the Miami Police Station, Friday afternoon.

The clergymen led participants in prayer as they addressed community concerns in the aftermath of a rash of police-involved shootings across the country.

The pastors also preached peace through unity. “We must understand that faith, hope and love, these three virtues, we must hold on to,” said the Rev. Steve Caldwell from New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Miami.

“I’m asking all of us law enforcement and community not to be separate, but let’s be completed together as one unit, and we can make a difference in change,” said the Rev. Keith Butler from Logos Baptist Church in Hialeah.

The rally comes in response to the recent deadly gun violence incidents in Dallas, Baton Rouge and St. Paul that have sparked a number of protests across the nation.
