NEAR BIG PINE KEY, Fla. (WSVN) — A festival in the Keys made music below the waves, Saturday.
Hundreds of divers and snorkelers could be seen swimming out for the Underwater Music Festival near Big Pine Key. “It really is interesting diving to music, when you’re used to a silent sound underwater,” said one attendee.
The music was played by underwater speakers attached to boats above the reef.
The event was organized by a Keys radio station in order to promote responsible diving.
