COCONUT CREEK, FLA. (WSVN) - A group of Coconut Creek Police officers are now in the clear following a Taser tragedy.

A Broward County grand jury ruled that there was not sufficient evidence to charge Daniel Rush, Thomas Eisenring or David Freeman in the case.

In February 2015, the officers used a Taser on Calvon “Andre” Reid while restraining him for allegedly creating a disturbance inside a gated community. He died two days later.

Authorities said the 39-year-old was under the influence of several drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, alcohol and the street drug flakka.
