FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WSVN) — Fifty Miami-Dade County firefighters have been deployed as part of FEMA’s National Urban Search and Rescue Task Force in response to Hurricane Matthew.

The team also includes K-9 handlers, engineers and doctors.

They are in Fort Pierce, awaiting instruction on where they will go.
