We continue to have a steady supply of tropical moisture moving in from the Caribbean. This is keeping the atmosphere unsettled with a high rain chance this Friday, but what about the weekend?
Today through Saturday, look for scattered to numerous showers and storms. Some of the heaviest activity will leave a slight risk of seeing street flooding.

By Sunday, high pressure is expected to build into the Gulf of Mexico and that will help bring in drier air. This will cut off the supply of deep tropical moisture from the south. However, it will not be totally dry. The sea breeze could trigger some inland showers and storms by the afternoon. Rain chances will be back to seasonal between 30-50%.
Hang on for just 2 more days! South Florida will not be as damp starting on Sunday. @wsvn pic.twitter.com/M7xfIt36u6

*** South Florida the humidity is very high and it will make temperatures feel like the 100’s each day. Keep in mind the official start of Summer is around the corner and extra hydration will be necessary.
Tropical Update: There are a few areas of clouds and rain in the Atlantic Basin, but we are not expecting development at this time.
Have a wonderful weekend South Florida and make it a safe one!
