The forecast is calling for high rain chances through Saturday, so have the umbrellas with you South Florida. Tropical moisture will linger and set the stage for active afternoons. Look for scattered to numerous showers and storms. Some of those storms could be strong producing frequent lightning. There is a high chance of seeing dangerous lightning for interior and coast. Also, there is a slight chance of street flooding in poor drainage areas within pockets of heavy rain that may form.

By Sunday, we will have a slow drying trend going into the 4th of July. Typical chances return.

Tropical Update: Outside of a few weak tropical waves… All is quiet!

Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
