PEMBROKE PINES, FLA. (WSVN) - Members of a South Florida church are working hard to help the people of Haiti.

The Immanuel Temple AME Church in Pembroke Pines is collecting water, medical supplies and Christmas gifts for orphaned children in Port-au-Prince.

Pastor John White is leading two dozen people, including doctors and volunteers, to deliver the supplies and administer medical aid to the impoverished country.

Haiti is still recovering from an earthquake in 2010, as well as Hurricane Matthew, which struck in early October.
