PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. (WSVN) — U.S. Customs and Border Patrol made a heroin bust on a vessel in Port Everglades.
Officers seized more than 22 pounds of heroin during an inspection on a vessel that arrived from Guatemala, Tuesday.
The narcotics were found in tin cans and had an estimated value of more than $600,000.
The contraband was turned over to U.S. Homeland Security special agents for further investigation.
