MIAMI (WSVN) - A pizza delivery driver was taken to the hospital after, police said, he was shot with a BB gun in Miami’s Midtown neighborhood, Monday night.

Miami Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the shooting in front of the Domino’s Pizza located in the area of Northeast Second Avenue and 34th Street, just after 9 p.m.

Crime tape could be seen both inside and outside of the business, and the area was blocked off.

The victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. 7News cameras captured paramedics wheeling the driver into the hospital.

Police said they responded to other incidents, Monday night, in which people were shot by BB guns. However, they are not connecting any of these incidents, at this time.

Police interviewed other employees at the Domino’s Pizza. It remains unclear how many people were involved or if there was any warning before those shots were fired.

The investigation continues.
