MIAMI (WSVN) — Miami Heat president Pat Riley was presented with the Don Shula Sports Legend Award.

The award is part of the annual Reid and Fiorentino Acordis Call of the Game Dinner, hosted by heat announcers Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino.

Other sports figures honored include Dick Stockton, Troy Vincent and Matthew Sandusky. All were honored for the passion they bring to the game and the community. "I’m so honored to be here tonight and be part of this whole event," Riley said. "I’m in good company tonight."

Proceeds from the event go toward Lauren’s Kids and the Miami-Dade Schools Athletic Foundation. Both of these organizations work to improve local sports for students.
