MIAMI (WSVN) - The Miami Marlins Foundation gave a generous gift just in time for back to school students.
The foundation donated $20,000 to Kiwanis of Little Havana to fund their week-long school supply giveaway.
They gave out backpacks filled with essentials on Wednesday at Marlins Park.
This is the sixth year that the Marlins Foundation and Kiwanis have teamed up to help kids get ready for that first day of school.
