2. Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo, $22.2 million, up 16 percent. Stock return: 9 percent.

3. Phebe Novakovic, General Dynamics, $20.4 million, up 8 percent. Stock return: 2 percent.

4. Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed Martin, $20.2 million, up 13 percent. Stock return: 16 percent.

5. Virginia Rometty, International Business Machines, $19.8 million, up 10 percent. Stock return: -11 percent.

6. Mary Dillon, ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, $18.6 million, up 200 percent. Stock return: 37 percent.

7. Irene Rosenfeld, Mondelez International, $18.3 million, up 15 percent. Stock return: 25 percent.

8. Heather Bresch, Mylan, $18.2 million, down 25 percent. Stock return: -4 percent.

9. Carol Meyrowitz, TJX Companies, $18 million, down 23 percent. Stock return: 9 percent.

10. Meg Whitman, HP, $17.1 million, down 13 percent. Stock return: -23 percent.
