MIAMI (WSVN) — Top principals from schools in Miami-Dade county were honored, Friday.
Miami-Dade Public School superintendent Alberto M. Carvahlo handed the awards at an event at Miami’s Jungle Island.
Dr. Manuel Sanchez from Miami Lakes Middle School won the honor of "Principal of the Year," while Gabriel Quintero from Kenwood K-8 Center received the "Assistant Principal of the Year" award.
