LAUDERHILL, FLA. (WSVN) - A 1-year-old boy is in critical condition after nearly drowning in a Lauderhill pool.
The toddler nearly drowned at a townhouse near Northwest 25th Street and 55th Terrace in Lauderhill.
Lauderhill Fire Rescue crews performed CPR on the boy, who was not breathing when they arrived.
Neighbors said the boy’s mother has been left distraught. “She was very devastated,” said neighbor Selena Levene-Burke. “My heart broke by watching her, and I just wanted to go and pray with her. That’s all my soul was telling me to do.”
