NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Students in need of a haircut before hitting the books headed to Northwest Miami-Dade, Sunday afternoon, thanks to a local teachers union.
Children lined up for the free trims at Da House of Cutz Barbershop near Northwest Seventh Avenue and 146th Street. The United Teachers of Dade sponsored the event.
The teachers union said it’s a way of helping underprivileged students get ready to go back to school.
